What is Club Soccer?

Club soccer is for athletes who are more committed and competitive. It offers a higher level of play and requires players to attend tryouts. It is not recommended for beginners or those who have never played before.

How old does my child need to be to play Club soccer?

Our Club program begins at U8 and goes up to U15.
Generally, children must be at least 6 or 7 years old to try out.

When is the registration period for Club?

Registration for Club begins before the recreational season, starting with tryouts.

• You must register in advance of the tryout date.

• After tryouts, a coach will contact you to let you know if your child has made the team.

• If selected, you’ll complete season registration at that time.

• If not selected, you are welcome to register your child for the Recreational League instead.

How do I register my child for Club?

To register, go to the Club tab on our website and follow the instructions for tryout registration.
If your child is not selected for a Club teamyou may choose to register for our Recreational program.

What is included in the Club registration fee?

The Club registration fee is $125, which covers:

• League fees

• Field maintenance/upkeep

Additional costs include:

• Uniforms

• Tournament fees (each team decides how many tournaments to attend)

Many teams participate in fundraising to help offset these costs.

How do I order a uniform?

Once your child has been accepted onto a Club team and is fully registered, you will order a uniform through the "Uniform" link found under the Competitive tab.

Where are Club games played?

CJFC Club teams compete in the Midwest Select Soccer League (MSSL). Games are hosted at the Joplin Athletic Complex: 3301 W 1st St, Joplin, MO 64801.
